Lunar Dawn is the story of Ephraim Jordan battling to save himself and his friends from annihilation by an evil force.  I loved the story and Harbin's descriptions dropped me right into the planet Seras, cheering for Ephraim and the other well-defined characters.  Highly recommended read for anyone who loves either science fiction or fantasy.  Or both!
