DELIVERANCE
Excerpt
IT WAS NICE TO BE DONE with some of our work. Harold motioned for us to stop, which seemed a
little odd to us. Nancy looked at me and then told the driver
to stop. He quickly came to our window
to give us a reason for stopping our departure to the Cayman
Islands.
“What
the hell is going on Harold?” Nancy asked.
“You
will never believe who I just saw in your back window.” Harold said.
“You better spill it, because my wife and I are ready to head to the
Caymans. By the way, this better be
important!” I added sternly.
“I saw ’Jack the Ripper’ wearing his trademark hat. He had a bloody knife and he smiled at
me. It looked like he was ready to kill
the both of you and be happy about it.”
Harold said.
“As you can see here in the car, he is not here. What kind of joke are you trying to play on
us Harold?” Nancy asked.
“I’m not trying to pull any joke on you two. I’m dead serious and I was concerned about
your welfare.” Harold replied.
“One thing that you have to realize is that all of us have been through
a lot and our minds will tend to play tricks on us. We appreciate the fact that you are concerned
about our welfare. Don’t
worry about us. Nancy and I will be just
fine. We’ll call you once we arrive in
the Caymans,” I said.
“We just want to put work off for awhile. There will be plenty of time for us to focus
on the last two books of X. This time is
for my new husband and me. Mike and I
are going to head out of here.” Nancy added.
“Ok. I apologize a hundred times
over to the both of you. Please have a
blissful and safe honeymoon.”
“Don’t you worry, we plan on it.”
Nancy
said.
Harold waved us off and we headed to the local airport to fly to the
Caymans. Nancy looked very excited as we boarded a
private plane. She and I had our
personal assistant. She loaded our
luggage and we were cleared for takeoff. It was nice that our commitment to Archillis and his people was delayed. Nancy and I could focus on each other. As we rose into the air, Nancy and I could
see how beautiful Ashland
really was.
“I can hardly wait to get to the
Caymans. They say that parts of it are
really beautiful.” Nancy said.
“Yes, why don’t you take a look at our vacation package? I want to see where Harold and Angie have
booked our rooms at.” I said.
“It looks like Harold and Angie
booked us at The Beach Club Colony Resort.
It’s located right on Seven Mile Beach.
It says in the package that this is the most private and well equipped
beach that is located on all of the islands.”
Nancy said.
“They were looking out for us
when they booked our rooms and vacation.
They sure are good friends to have.
It’s almost like having a new family.”
I said.
“I agree with that completely.” Nancy said.
“What do you want to do with our four hour
layover in Miami?”
“Let’s go have a nice meal and
stay close to the airport.”
“That sounds good to me.”
Within three and half hours,
Nancy and I arrived in Miami. As our private plane landed, we could see the
beautiful beach. The weather looked
heavenly with a slight wind. Our plane
needed to refuel and get serviced, which is what
caused our delay to the Caymans.
Since Nancy and I had some time
on our hands, we alerted our pilot that we would be back a half
hour before the plane was ready to go.
He was fine with that, and the assistant asked if she could tag along
with us. Nancy readily agreed and the three of us were
soon off walking to a local Persian Restaurant that was only a block away from
the airport, which was nice for us. The
assistant told us that the food was to die for. In my years of work with the L.A.P.D., I
never really had the chance to expose my palate to different foods. Nancy
was a pretty laid back type of girl. It was just as exciting for her to try a new
food. As we walked up to the restaurant,
Nancy looked up
and noticed the name of it. The Tehrani,
which was a name that referred to a family that was directly from Iran
that had decided to live the American Dream and bring their culture to us... As we walked in, Nancy’s eyes were glued
on the walls of the room. They were filled with
Persian carpets all over the walls.
Whoever created these had an eye for art. The waiter was gracious and immediately walked
us over to a very nice table. They
turned down the lights and lit some candles because somehow they knew that we
were newlyweds. He gave us a menu, which
was going to be a little difficult because we didn’t
speak any Persian.
Nancy looked at the menu and
decided to order. After focusing for a
moment and trying to pronounce the dish correctly, she picked Sultani, which is skewered hamburger and steak kabob. Since I was a big guy,
I decided to order King Kabob, which is a very large skewer of steak. The
assistant recommended that we also get a sabzi plate,
which was feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and sweet onion. She also recommended that we get a salad
called Shirazi, which was a salad with a Persian
dressing. I could tell that that Nancy was looking forward
to eating this delicious food. Within
twenty minutes, the food arrived at our table.
The aroma made our mouths water. Nancy smiled as she took a
bite of her hamburger kabob. It was time
for me to try this. I picked up a piece
of my steak kabob and put in my mouth. I
savoured each bite.
“This food is very delicious and
good for the palate.” Nancy commented.
“I can agree with that my love
goddess.”
“You sure can tell what’s on your
mind.” Nancy grinned.
“What can I say, I’m guilty as
charged.” I agreed.
We enjoyed the rest of the
meal. The assistant looked like she was also
pleased with what she ordered. The setting was very romantic for us. It was a pleasure to spend quality time with Nancy. I felt very fortunate to have such a beautiful
lady in my life. A few moments later, Nancy looked at her watch and realized that
it was time for us to head back to our plane.
After walking for a mere five minutes, we made it to the security checkpoint. All of us swiftly passed it and we walked on
to our plane. The pilot shut the door
and told us to buckle up. Within
seconds, we were back in the air. I
tenderly held Nancy’s
hand as our destination drew closer. In
the back of my mind, I’d hoped that she and I wouldn’t
have any unwanted interruptions during our stay in the Caymans. She could tell that my mind was deep in
thought. We kissed and embraced each
other to help pass the time.
A couple of hours later, we
arrived and were greeted by a huge white limo with a
courteous driver. He knew exactly where
Nancy and I were staying. The pilot’s
assistant thanked us for the opportunity to meet us. We stepped off the plane and walked to our
limo. Our luggage soon followed and was put into the
trunk. The driver took us to The Beach
Club Colony Resort. It looked very
private; it would allow to us to spend our honeymoon in peace. We checked in and took the elevator to our
honeymoon suite. We had lost track of
time with all of the traveling that we had done. It was already eight in the evening. The room had a tropical theme, which was a
major point with Nancy. She loved anything with a tropical
theme. I noticed that they had a huge
king-sized bed with a huge mirror on the ceiling, which seemed a little erotic. Nancy
went over and turned on the hot tub that was in the living room. She had room service bring up a bottle of
wine with chilled glasses.
It was customary for us to take a
shower before going into the hot tub.
She and I made our way to the bathroom. The shower had dual heads, which
allowed two people to enjoy themselves.
We needed to get rid of the jet lag. Nancy
seductively took off her dress and I took off my shirt
and pants, then turned the water on in the shower. Nancy
liked to have steamy showers because she likes to clear her sinuses. The water steamed up the room. Nancy
shed the rest of her under clothes. She
smiled as she got in the shower. I
followed her by removing my shorts and got in. Looking into Nancy’s eyes, I brought her closer to me and
felt her tender body in the steamy, hot shower.
We kissed passionately as the water hit both of our backs. She and I enjoyed washing each other. Ten
minutes later, we made our way back to the hot tub. Nancy
smiled as she noticed that I was excited, which meant that I was turned on by
seeing her body. Then both of us got in
and enjoyed the bubbles. Nancy poured us both a
glass of the year 2000 vintage wine. The white wine tasted very soothing.
“It’s time for a toast.” Nancy
decided, pouring us
another glass of wine and stood up in the water.
“Ok that sounds good to me.”
“I toast to our marriage and to
the closure for the next two books of X.”
She said.
She and I celebrated with a very
good toast to our new marriage and to our future together. It felt nice to be spending the rest of my
life with Nancy. She laid back and squeezed some of the white
grapes onto her bosom. It was an
invitation for me to clean her chest off with my tongue. Not wasting anytime, I leaned over and licked
my wife’s chest. Our lips met and it was
like two volcanoes erupting. She grabbed
me passionately and we made love with fury.
Nancy
moaned with pleasure as I kissed her neck and caressed her body.
An hour later, room service
brought us up some prime rib that was roasted to perfection. After making hot love, Nancy had the appetite of a lion. The room was private so there was no need to
cover up our bodies. The room had big
fireplace and logs that were set to start.
I turned the lights down in the room and lit the fireplace, which set
the stage for a romantic dinner. The
flames roared as I put another log into the fire. We enjoyed our dinner and then went to
bed. Nancy rolled the cover down and lay down; I
quickly lay down beside her. We held
each other until we fell fast asleep.
