Born in October 1985 in the North East of England, this young artist
hasn't always been overly creative. As a child Anna's earliest
memory of Art being in an y part influential to her, were memories
of works of Boris
Vallejo and Julie Bell plastered on her Uncle's bedroom wall. Two
works in particular have always been fresh in her mind since seeing
them. They're 'Siren's Song' and 'Vampire's Kiss'. If it wasn't for
this informal introduction into Fantasy Art and Female Erotica, her
love for these genres of Art would have never been
born.
Anna first began her artistic journey in Senior School when she was
introduced to portrait painting and life drawing. She worked with
chalk, poster paint and acrylics. However, when she finished her
GCSE's and started college to study Health Care , her art work was
put on hold. When she finished college in August 2006, Anna met here
partner in life, Michael Stelfox. He introduced her to software such
as Poser, Photoshop and Painter. Anna soon realised that she could
pursue her creativity on the computer and soon began working with
Poser to produce portraits. After a year of working with Poser and
combining the program with Photoshop and Painter, Anna began to
realize that Poser had certain limitations. With much thought and
nail biting, she decided to move away from Poser and concentrate on
purely 2D Digital works instead of 3D. She does move back and forth
to Poser periodically, but nowadays most of her art is created using
digital Acrylics in Painter.
When Anna isn't painting for herself, she us creating Tutorials for
magazines such as 'Art & prose', 'Parable Visions' and participating
in Artist Showcases and interviews. She also works part time as a
book cover artist for Club Lighthouse Publishing, and runs her own
publishing company with her partner Michael. You can view more of
